Accessibility Statement

What has been done

• Semantic HTML with proper landmarks, headings and lists.
• A “skip to main content” link as the first thing keyboard users reach.
• Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
• A clear, high-contrast focus outline on everything focusable.
• Colour combinations chosen to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast, with body text never smaller than 16px.
• Form fields with visible labels, described errors and live status messages.
• Meaningful alternative text on images, and labelled placeholders where a photograph is still to come.
• Layouts that reflow to a single column on small screens without loss of content.
• Animation and smooth scrolling switched off automatically for anyone who has asked their device to reduce motion.
• The mobile menu can be closed with the Escape key, which returns focus where it was.

Target standard

The aim is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA. Accessibility is treated as ongoing work rather than a box that has been ticked.

Known limitations

• Downloadable PDFs may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need a resource in a different format, ask and one will be provided.
• The payment checkout is provided by Stripe and follows Stripe’s own accessibility standards.
